TeleMed's state-of-the-art interactive voice response (IVR) system allows medical professionals and their staff to efficiently and cost effectively inform patients of test results and important follow-up information directly. Messages are recorded personally by in-office medical personnel using a touchtone phone. Patients can access the recorded results 24 hours a day from any touchtone phone using a confidential pass code, without having to go through their providers. TeleMed puts an end to the common problem of “phone-tag,” saving providers and patient's time and frustration. It's as easy to use as voicemail. Patient Friendly Your patients are given a card during their office visit that instructs them to call TeleMed after a specified date. They enter your Physician ID number, and a confidential Patient ID number, which is either their medical record number or Social Security number.
