A Few Words About Us


History

TeleMed was founded in 1986 through the acquisition of a small medical answering service serving a local physician-owned medical society.
Today, TeleMed provides service to private medical practices, dental practices, healthcare companies, universities, hospitals, hospice groups, military, durable goods manufacurers, capitol equipment support, research institutions and others.

TeleMed's two southeastern national call centers process over five million incoming calls each year. Even with this tremendous growth and volume, TeleMed maintains nearly 99% of its client base annually.

This high retention and double digit annual growth rate is attributed to focusing on our goal of providing the highest-quality alternative in a fragmented market dominated by small local service vendors.

TeleMed is a privately held company headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia.
